Children’s
Liturgy of the Word
The
11:00 Mass on Sunday offers the chance for younger worshippers
(ages 6-12) to learn from the readings at their own
level. As a participant in this ministry you will study
the readings in advance so you are prepared to help
the children proclaim the Word and offer answers and
explanations to what is meant in the readings. Ministers
are rotated so the commitment is only a few hours each
month.

Christian
Service Ministry
The
work of Christ was not meant to be kept within the walls
of the church. Like every city Burbank has many people
in need. This ministry spreads the work of Christ by
assisting the Burbank Temporary Aid Center and other
organizations in the local area. Currently the group
helps provide food and clothing to those in need. It
is the goal of this ministry to expand the work beyond
holiday food drives by increasing support with volunteer
assistance as well as providing day to day essentials
needed for good health and hygiene. We want to help
our less fortunate brothers and sisters regain control
and dignity in their lives.
